Position Overview

As a Retail Cash Handling Specialist at GP North Shell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient customer transactions. Your responsibilities will include managing cash registers and providing exceptional service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Management: Operate cash registers and process various payment methods including cash, checks, and credit/debit cards.
  • Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
  • Sales Reconciliation: Calculate and reconcile daily payments received with total sales to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Merchandise Handling: Scan items and package merchandise efficiently for customers.
  • Age Verification: Ensure compliance with legal requirements by verifying customer age for restricted products.
Work Environment
