About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at JFJ Construction LTD. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading, unloading, and transporting materials as needed.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project requirements.
  • Assistance with Construction Tasks: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, drilling and blasting rock on construction sites, framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Site Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance work, clean up chemical spills and other contaminants, and remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The role requires physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Conditions: Work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, and be able to adapt to changing weather conditions.
  • Weight Handling: Lift and move materials weighing up to 45 kg (100 lbs) as needed.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess accurate, dependable, flexible, reliable, and hardworking qualities, with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
