About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Coach to join our team at Kelowna Gymnastix. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for leading our competitive programs and developing training and practice sessions for our athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate competitive programs and develop training and practice sessions for athletes
  • Motivate and prepare athletes for competitive events and games
  • Analyze and evaluate athletes' performance and provide feedback for improvement
  • Teach and demonstrate athletic, fitness, or sports activities and techniques
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed and maintain a safe training environment
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments and understand principles of group dynamics
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire athletes to achieve their best
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
