Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Construction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at GE Steam Power Canada Inc. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, and meeting budget and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and meeting budget and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including construction, engineering, and procurement, to ensure project success.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Monitor and report project progress, including financial performance, schedule, and quality metrics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as construction management, engineering, or business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools.
