We are seeking a skilled Glazier Technician to join our team at Alberta Glass Company Inc. as a permanent employee.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining glass and aluminum products in various settings, including commercial, industrial, and institutional environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each project
  • Position and secure panes in frames
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Install door, window, and other hardware
  • Instruct apprentices
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
Requirements:
  • Working at heights training
  • Glazier Red Seal Certificate
  • Glazier Trade Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years or more of experience in the field
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own transportation
