About the Role:

At Mercer, we're seeking a Senior Compensation Consultant to join our Career Consulting Team. As a key member of our team, you'll work with clients to optimize their business performance through effective talent management strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis to understand industry and organization-specific issues, including business strategy, corporate performance, compensation and rewards practices, and trends.
  • Develop and implement job evaluation and job classification systems.
  • Analyze clients' strategic, financial, and organizational information to provide insights that drive rewards and talent solutions.
  • Prepare client presentations, including recommendations presented to boards of directors, executives, senior management, and HR leaders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, including hands-on participation in Pay Equity work.
  • Experience in management consulting, total rewards, compensation, finance, human resources, or accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, and a solid background in Excel.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work under tight deadlines or changing client needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
