About the Opportunity
Foremost is seeking a skilled Journeyman Painter to join our team in Calgary, Alberta. As a key member of our operations team, you will work closely with our Lead Hand, Charge Hand, and Foremen to drive continuous improvements and execute tasks related to your classification.
Key Accountabilities:
• Work independently to execute written and/or verbal instructions.
• Apply prime or finished coats of paint, protective and decorative, to all parts of finished products and/or equipment.
• Operate brush or spray painting equipment as required and ensure proper storage and handling of all paints and painting supplies.
• Maintain and care for all Company-owned finishing and painting equipment and facilities.
• Assist less experienced personnel with work methods, work habits, and performance.
• Perform other tasks related to your classification.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Must have certification from a recognized training facility or demonstrate the ability to meet the above requirements to the satisfaction of Management.
• Experience is an asset.
• Hand tools are required.
• Safety training is an asset, but will be provided as required.
Additional Information:
This role can be performed in Calgary or Lloydminster, Alberta.
