We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our Vehicle Electrical Systems team at Harbinger Motors Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and documenting vehicle power distribution and communications architectures, writing requirements and test plans for subsystems and components, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into vehicle designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and document vehicle power distribution and communications architectures
  • Write requirements and test plans for subsystems and components
  • Engage with suppliers to identify components for sourcing
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components into vehicle designs, considering safety and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or other relevant educational credential
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering in the automotive field or similar
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to requirements and testing of electrical components
  • Experience with software and digital communication specifications and requirements is a plus
  • Experience with hands-on device testing is a plus
  • Experience with high voltage devices is a plus
