Water Resource Infrastructure Design

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team at MPE Engineering Ltd. As a key member of our water resources group, you will play a vital role in the design and development of water resource infrastructure projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assist in the design and drafting of water resource infrastructure, including dams, canals, drainage systems, and flood mitigation projects.
* Support the planning and execution of fieldwork such as topographic surveys, site inspections, and data collection.
* Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of water resource projects from conceptual design to construction management.
* Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis to support water management solutions.
**Qualifications:**
* Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
* Interest or experience in Water Resources would be considered an asset.
* 0–5 years of experience (experience with dams, canals, or drainage systems is an asset).
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other drafting software.
* Being registered or eligible for registration with Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPSK).
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
* Aptitude for general construction methods.
* Self-motivated with ability to work independently.
* Willingness to work in the field for extended periods.
