  • Utilize classical cooking techniques to produce both small and large batch goods.
  • Assist in selecting recipes for menu cycles, preparing baked goods, managing inventory, and accommodating special dietary needs.
  • Participate in training related to food allergies and foodborne illnesses.
  • Adhere to all safety and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Engage in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Report any accidents or injuries promptly.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in producing mother sauces, with experience in cooking stews and casseroles, and knowledgeable in various cooking methods such as steaming, roasting, and grilling.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food preparation with strong knife skills.
  • Experience in a high-volume food preparation environment for at least 3 years.
  • Exhibit personal and professional integrity, maintaining a positive appearance and demeanor.

Education:

  • Red Seal certification is preferred. Please include a copy of your certification with your application.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
