Fuel Oil Truck Driver Job Description

Western Petroleum is seeking a reliable and skilled Fuel Oil Truck Driver to join our team. As a Fuel Oil Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting fuel oil to our customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload fuel oil from our trucks to our customers' storage tanks.
  • Operate a fuel oil truck in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and documentation, including bills of lading and inspection reports.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 3 or D driver's license.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a fuel oil truck driver or in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects.
