Position Overview: Information Systems Analyst

The Information Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing business operations through effective information systems solutions. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure that client needs are met efficiently.

Educational Requirements

A minimum of a college diploma or a non-university certificate program lasting 1 to 2 years is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to ascertain their specific requirements.
  • Design, develop, and deploy tailored information systems solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Advise on strategic planning, policy formulation, management, and service delivery regarding information systems.
  • Evaluate security risks associated with data, software, and hardware.
  • Create and implement policies and contingency plans to mitigate the impact of security incidents.
  • Establish and enforce policies and procedures throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate quality assurance practices, software products, and information systems.
