About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team at BAWA CONSTRUCTION INC. As a Construction Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Erect and dismantle structures: Assist in the construction of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Mix and apply materials: Help mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Assist in framing and building: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
  • Level earth: Level earth to fine grade specifications.
  • Demolish buildings: Assist in demolishing buildings.
  • Clean and salvage materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials.
  • Remove debris: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Work Environment

As a Construction Assistant, you will work outdoors, at heights, underground, and in confined spaces. You will be exposed to physically demanding tasks and repetitive activities.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Work schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
