Key Responsibilities
Your main duties will include:
- Inspecting, servicing, and maintaining a variety of aerial construction machinery such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and telehandlers.
- Conducting preventative maintenance on equipment at customer job sites.
- Diagnosing equipment issues, performing necessary repairs, and testing machinery on-site.
- Delivering exceptional customer service in all interactions.
- Keeping detailed records of inspections, maintenance, and work orders promptly.
- Following all company health and safety regulations.
What You Bring to the Role
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of mechanical experience, ideally with construction machinery.
- Experience with aerial equipment is advantageous.
- Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid Class G driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must possess a complete set of tools.
- Availability for overtime as needed.
- Proficient in computer applications and diagnostic tools.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and motors.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Take pride in your work.
