Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team at 0482597 B.C. Ltd. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of laundry and dry cleaning services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mixing and Preparing Chemicals: Mix and add detergents, dyes, bleaches, starches, and other solutions and chemicals to achieve optimal cleaning results.
  • Operating Equipment: Operate machines to dye, spray, re-oil, and re-buff suede and leather garments, as well as steam pressers and hand irons to finish dry cleaned and laundered articles.
  • Quality Control: Check finished dry-cleaned or laundered articles to ensure that they meet our establishment standards.
  • Inventory Management: Match invoices or tags with dry-cleaned or laundered articles and record any damage or improper cleaning or laundering of articles.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that all articles are handled and processed in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
