Job Summary:

Nutrien is a leading provider of agricultural products, services, and solutions. We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

This position reports to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for performing maintenance, inspecting, repairing, and overhauling of all internal combustion, mobile, and portable equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work safely in a mining environment and follow established procedures and policies.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and overhauls of equipment.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is functioning properly and efficiently.
  • Identify and report any equipment issues or safety concerns to the maintenance supervisor.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Valid Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic License.
  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an industrial environment is an asset.
  • Positive safety behavior and safety guidance.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a labor-intensive team environment.
