Senior Financial Analyst
The Senior Financial Analyst position entails performing and documenting intricate financial and economic assessments, while also guaranteeing the precision and adherence of the organization’s financial and accounting records.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting monthly foreign currency translations and intercompany reconciliation checks
- Managing journal entries and account reconciliations
- Preparing consolidated financial reports and analyses
- Drafting financial statement note disclosures
- Investigating accounting policies
- Assisting in forecast and budget consolidation
- Supporting the year-end audit process
- Undertaking additional tasks as required
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, or a related field
- CPA certification
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience
- Comprehensive understanding of Canadian GAAP
- Capability to research emerging accounting standards
- Experience with financial statement note disclosures
