Position Overview:
Hussein Khalil, a dedicated Desjardins Insurance Agent, is looking for a qualified professional to join their successful team as an Insurance Account Specialist. We are seeking a dynamic individual who is passionate about contributing to our growth through meaningful interactions and exceptional customer service. If you are a proactive self-starter who excels in a vibrant work environment, this role offers a fulfilling career with significant earning potential and opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads, arrange meetings, assess client needs, and promote suitable products and services.
- Deliver timely, accurate, and courteous customer support. This includes addressing inquiries related to insurance options, eligibility, coverage details, policy modifications, claims processing, and billing inquiries.
- Collaborate with the agent to set and achieve marketing objectives.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales (outside sales, inside sales representative, retail sales, or telemarketing) is preferred.
- Proven success in achieving sales targets is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication abilities - written, verbal, and listening.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capability to present information to prospective clients.
- Property & Casualty license (must have or be able to obtain).
- Life & Health License (must be able to obtain).
Compensation (Salary + Commission): $45,000 - $75,000
- Comprehensive Health Benefits including dental, prescription coverage, and vision care.
This position is with an independent contractor agent affiliated with the Desjardins exclusive agent network. The employees of this agent are not employees of Desjardins Group or its subsidiaries. Independent contractor agents are responsible for all employment decisions regarding their staff.
