Job Summary:
Brandt is seeking a highly skilled Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for the demonstration and sale of John Deere Compact Construction Equipment, including fork lifts, skid steers, compact track loaders, and mini excavators, as well as Ditch Witch, Worksight light compaction equipment, and other associated manufacturer's lines including Morbark and Rayco.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales of New and Used Utility Equipment: Meet or exceed sales targets for new and used utility equipment in assigned territory.
- Personal Calls and Prospecting: Conduct a minimum of 7 personal calls per day in assigned territory to prospect for new accounts and build relationships with existing customers.
- Customer Relations and Account Management: Assist with customer relations, including resolving customer complaints and issues, and manage accounts to ensure timely payment and satisfaction.
- Call Reports and Sales Data: Submit weekly call reports and sales data to management to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Lost Sales Reports: Submit lost sales reports on a timely basis to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers, management, and other stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge: Have knowledge of the equipment and construction industry, including products, services, and market trends.
- Travel and Valid Passport: Possess a valid passport and be able to travel internationally as required.
- Previous Sales Experience: Have previous sales experience in the equipment and construction industry.
- Driver's Abstract and Heavy Trailer Endorsement: Possess a recent driver's abstract and a heavy trailer endorsement.
