Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Universal Machining & Engineering Ltd. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-precision parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings: Accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
  • Maintain and Repair Precision Measuring Instruments: Regularly maintain and repair precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate measurements and minimize downtime.
  • Document and Report Deviations: Document and report any deviations from specifications and tolerances to ensure quality control and process improvement.
  • Set Up and Operate Machine Tools: Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools to produce high-precision parts and products.
  • Verify Dimensions and Conformance: Verify the dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • Follow Safety Procedures: Follow emergency and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment and minimize the risk of accidents.
Requirements
  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Will Train: We will provide training for the right candidate.
  • On-Site Work: Work must be completed at the physical location, with no option to work remotely.
