Job Summary

At Road Runner Freight Inc., we are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Logistics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections of your vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including checking tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Logistics Coordination: Arrange travel itineraries, make reservations, and coordinate with other team members to ensure smooth delivery of goods.
  • Driving and Loading: Drive a variety of trucks, including lighter and special purpose vehicles, and load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols, including those related to the transportation of hazardous materials.
Requirements
  • AZ class license
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Valid driver's license
  • English language proficiency
  • Ability to work 35-40 hours per week
