Job Summary
The Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology Specialist will play a key role in providing comprehensive cancer care to patients at BC Cancer. This position will be responsible for providing individualized drug therapy, conducting in-service education, and providing drug information to patients and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans for patients with cancer
- Provide in-service education to healthcare professionals on cancer-related topics
- Respond to drug information inquiries from patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Prepare and dispense medications and other pharmaceuticals
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care for patients
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy with current registration as a Licensed Pharmacist with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia
- Completion of a Hospital Pharmacy Residency Program
- One (1) year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
