About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant at AA Future Leaders Daycare and Learning Center. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our young students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Diapering, and Feeding Infants and Toddlers: Provide essential care and attention to our youngest students, ensuring their basic needs are met.
  • Program Development and Implementation: Collaborate with our team to design and implement engaging child-care programs that promote learning and growth.
  • Maintenance and Organization: Maintain a clean and safe environment, including daycare equipment and supplies.
  • Storytelling and Activities: Engage children in interactive storytelling, teaching songs, and leading activities that foster creativity and imagination.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Assist in maintaining accurate records and preparing reports for parents and guardians.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and coordinate activities with other early childhood educators and assistants.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Child development assistant (ECE level 1).
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, interpersonal awareness.
Work Environment and Benefits
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
