About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at 2443447 Alberta Ltd. as an entry-level position. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, clean and disinfect elevators, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Linen Management: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens.
  • General Maintenance: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with repetitive tasks. You must be able to lift and move heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, client focus, excellent oral communication, flexibility.
