About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Light Duty Cleaner to join our team at Gila General Maintenance Services. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our industrial facility and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect elevators, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train, or equivalent experience.
  • Personal Qualities: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Work Conditions

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. Public transportation is available. The work setting is an urban area, industrial facility, or commercial building. The work site environment is non-smoking.
