Job Title: Senior Tunnel Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tunnel Inspector to join our team at Parsons Corporation.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will conduct daily inspections to ensure contract adherence and conformance with contract specifications. This role requires a strong background in EPB tunneling and geotechnical engineering, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform construction inspection assignments and site visits to monitor tunnel and shaft construction work and related activities.
  • Provide supervision and mentoring to junior inspectors.
  • Maintain accurate records and photographs to document daily construction activities.
  • Assist in invoicing and claims management.
  • Monitor contractor work for compliance with contract specifications, safety, and environmental legislation.
  • Enforce punch list completion and resolve open items in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Experience in underground construction, including Support of Excavation and EPB TBM operations.
  • Degree or Diploma in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, and/or combination of related experience along with 10+ years of experience in QA/QC inspection of TBM tunneling with precast concrete segmental lining.
  • PEO registered or OACETT registered Road Construction Senior Inspector (rcsi).
  • Knowledge and experience with CSA A23.1/A23.3/A23.4/G/W47.1/ and other relevant specifications.
  • Ability to work at project sites on a 24/7 schedule.
