Pilates Instructor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pilates Instructor to join our team at Active Pilates Inc.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness, or sports activities and techniques to clients.
  • Schedule activities and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Train staff and provide guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Assist with coordination of recreational, sport, and fitness events.
  • Lead groups and individuals in recreational or leisure programs.
  • Plan and carry out recreational, fitness, and sports activities.
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Understand principles of group dynamics and lead groups effectively.
  • Provide lifestyle awareness information and conduct therapeutic recreational or athletic activities.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Monitor recreational, sports, or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required.
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for visible minorities and youth employment.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
