Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified UX Professor to join our faculty at the University of Ottawa. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in human-computer interaction, UX design, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and mentor students in human-computer interaction, UX design, and evaluation
  • Develop and implement UX curricula and programs
  • Conduct research in UX and human-computer interaction
  • Collaborate with industry partners on UX projects

Requirements:

  • PhD in Psychology or related field with a thesis in User Experience (UX)
  • 3-5 years industry experience in UX design and evaluation
  • Expert knowledge of human computer interaction theories and UX frameworks
  • Significant experience managing and mentoring multi-disciplinary UX projects
