Journeyman Carpenter Job Description

The Journeyman Carpenter is a skilled tradesperson responsible for constructing and maintaining buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction and remodeling trades, including practices, procedures, techniques, tools, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hanging doors and setting door hardware
  • Setting windows and layout for stairs and common rafters
  • Formwork and reading blueprints
  • Materials estimates and cost control

Requirements:

  • Ticketed Journeyperson Carpenter
  • Experience with a large general contractor
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract preferred
