Job Title: Data Governance Specialist

About the Role:

As a Data Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive data governance frameworks to enhance data quality and ensure consistent data management practices across the organization. You will work closely with data owners, data stewards, and other stakeholders to maintain data governance standards and resolve data-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with data owners and data stewards to maintain data governance standards and resolve data-related issues.
  • Utilize data governance tools to maintain data catalogs, data lineage, and metadata management.
  • Lead and execute data governance initiatives to achieve data consistency and standardization.
  • Stay up-to-date with rapidly evolving technological trends and self-learn new technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in data governance frameworks and understanding of data protection regulations and compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in SQL, data mining, and data observability best practices.
  • Ability to lead data governance initiatives and projects.
