Job Summary:

Jardeg-Construction is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to join our team for a challenging project at SaskPower Yellowhead in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. As an Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining various instruments and systems to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and calibrate pneumatic and electronic instruments to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, and composition.
  • Install tubing for instrument air, sample points, and analyzers.
  • Install flowmeters, pressure transmitters and gauges, temperature indicators, controllers, and other recording, indicating, or controlling instruments.
  • Calibrate, repair, maintain and adjust system components, and install and maintain instruments on new or existing equipment.
  • Prepare schematic drawings, sketches, and reports to reflect changes or alterations made in instruments, circuits and systems.
  • Tubing/calibration experience would be considered an asset.

Requirements:

  • Possess a valid Journeyperson certificate or currently indentured into the Instrumentation trade.
  • CSTS 2020 OR SCOT Certificate.
  • Fall Protection.
  • AWP/EWO.
  • Confined Space.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Satisfactory completion of Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
