Residential Caregiver

NORA VIVAS is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential facilities.

• Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
• Housekeeping Tasks: Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
• Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens.
• Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies.
• General Maintenance: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers.

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
• Language: English.
• Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
• Work Setting: Residential farm setting.

• Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.

• Reliability: Punctuality, dependability, and flexibility.
• Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Criminal Record Check: Required.

• Travel Expenses: Travel expenses paid by employer.
