Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Days InnTerrace. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Stocking and Supply Management: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, and ensure that all necessary supplies are available.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Housekeeping Operations: Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, clean and disinfect elevators, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability.
