Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Heavy-Duty Cleaner to join our team at Deep and Thorough Cleaning Services Inc.. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across various facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Cleaning Duties: Perform sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and waxing of hallways, floors, and stairs.
  • Utilize industrial vacuum cleaners to effectively remove dirt, debris, and refuse.
  • Manage waste disposal by emptying trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Conduct window washing, and clean interior walls and ceilings.
  • Assist in moving heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Tend to plants, lawns, and gardens by watering and maintaining them.
  • Ensure bathrooms and fixtures are cleaned and disinfected thoroughly.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Clear snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure safety.
Security and Safety Requirements
  • Completion of a criminal record check is mandatory.
Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience ranging from 1 to less than 7 months is preferred.
  • Employment Duration: Permanent position.
  • Working Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
