Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including automobiles, vans, and light trucks, to pick up and deliver various items and products.

  • Logistics and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, and ensure that inventory is properly stocked and managed.

  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Record trip information, including vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.

Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Background Checks: Pass a background check, including pre-marital and pre-employment checks.
  • Transportation Experience: Possess local and regional transportation experience.
  • Service Experience: Possess experience in delivery and customer service.
  • Security and Safety: Possess a valid driver's licence and pass a driving record check (abstract).
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Be able to work in a physically demanding environment, with attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Weight Handling: Be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Possess excellent oral communication skills, be a team player, and demonstrate reliability, dependability, and initiative.
