Key Responsibilities- Laying Out Reference Points and Patterns: Accurately lay out reference points and patterns to ensure precise assembly and fitting of steel structures.
- Assembling and Fitting Steel Components: Assemble and fit steel plates and sections to form structures, ensuring a high level of precision and quality.
- Operating Heavy-Duty Metal-Working Machines: Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines, such as shears, presses, and drills, to cut, shape, and form steel components.
- Constructing Patterns and Templates: Construct patterns and templates to ensure accurate cutting and shaping of steel components.
- Installing Fabricated Components: Install fabricated components in the final product, ensuring a high level of quality and precision.
- Rigging and Material Handling: Rig, hoist, and move materials to storage areas or within the worksite, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Physically Demanding Work: This role requires a high level of physical fitness and endurance, as you will be working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Hand-Eye Coordination: You will need to have excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills to operate heavy-duty metal-working machines and perform other tasks.
