Job Summary:

U-Haul is seeking a skilled Brake and Tire Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of vehicle performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including tire and brake checks, oil changes, and vehicle inspections.
  • Mount, dismount, and balance tires, as well as perform brake repairs and replacements.
  • Use proprietary electronic pre-inspection checklists to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work in a fast-paced production environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of repair experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn proprietary software.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
