The Dermatologist will provide consultative services for inpatients and ongoing supervision, mentorship, and teaching of medical students and residents at Eagle Ridge Hospital and Royal Columbian Hospital. The successful candidate will be part of a strong collaboration with other hospitals in the region and be affiliated with the University of British Columbia Medical School teaching program.

Work Environment

Eagle Ridge Hospital and Royal Columbian Hospital is a 168 bed hospital in Port Moody, British Columbia, serving the communities of Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore, and Belcarra. The hospital offers medical, surgical, regional rehabilitation, cardiac and diabetes outpatient programs, as well as 24/7 emergency services with over 53,000 visits annually. The emergency department expansion and upgrades project is now complete, allowing for quality emergency care in spaces better designed to meet the growing needs of patients in the Tri-Cities. The Royal Columbian Hospital redevelopment is a multi-year, multi-phase project to increase the hospital's capacity, beds, and services.
