Job Title: Arborist

Woodogre Contracting Ltd. is seeking a skilled Arborist to join our team. As an Arborist, you will be responsible for trimming trees to achieve the desired pruning objective, surveying and assessing designated sites, and applying various treatments such as pruning, spraying, and repairing damaged areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trim trees to achieve the desired pruning objective, including crown cleaning, thinning, raising, reduction, restoration, espalier pruning, and vista pruning.
  • Survey and assess designated sites to determine the best course of action for tree care.
  • Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, and repairing damaged areas to maintain the health and safety of trees.
  • Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease, and develop plans to address these issues.
  • Plant and move trees, and assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.
  • Remove trees and assist in other tree care activities as needed.
Requirements:
  • International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certification.
  • Specialized environmental skills and knowledge.
  • Ability to work at heights and in a physically demanding environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
