Job Title: Marble Polisher, Machine

We are seeking a skilled Marble Polisher, Machine to join our team at Milano Stone Inc. in a permanent position.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs, or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish. This role requires attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate machines to grind and polish stone surfaces to specific shape or design
  • Perform ongoing machine adjustments to ensure optimal performance
  • Check products for quality control
  • Drill holes in blocks or slabs of stone according to specifications
  • Finish surfaces of castings using screed or trowel
Requirements:
  • Experience in marble polishing and machine operation an asset
  • Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week. Free parking is available on site. The language of work is English.
