We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our pediatric team at Fraser Health Authority. As a Registered Nurse in Pediatrics, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to children and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments of pediatric patients and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide person-centered care and promote health and well-being.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- One year of recent, related clinical nursing experience in pediatrics.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant software systems.
