About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at 21 Century. As a key member of our retail or wholesale team, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat to meet customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat to meet customer requirements
  • Wrap and package prepared meats for sale or distribution
  • Remove bones from meat to ensure quality and presentation
  • Cut poultry into parts for further processing or sale
  • Grind meats to meet customer specifications
  • Shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood for presentation and sale
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in a physically demanding environment. If you are physically fit and able to meet the demands of this role, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week
