About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Second Cook to join our culinary team at EightSix Network. As a Second Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, preparing high-quality food items, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Prepare and cook food items to a high standard, meeting or exceeding guest expectations.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining production levels and controlling waste and spoilage.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Assist in maintaining health and safety standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Must have attended a recognized culinary institution, having completed or in the process of completing a culinary program.
  • Must have a minimum of three years of progressive, recognized culinary experience in a large kitchen or similar working environment.
  • Must be able to follow direction, work in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
