Pharmacist Job Description

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the accurate and timely dispensing of medications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels to meet patient needs
  • Counsel patients on new and additional medications
  • Create awareness and educate customers through public relations
  • Provide timely and positive resolution to patient needs and doctor requests
  • Review and control costs within the dispensary
  • Provide ongoing training for new and existing pharmacy colleagues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacist license
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills and knowledge of KROLL/Health Watch Pharmacy Computer system
