Job Title: Automotive Body Repairer-Painter

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Body Repairer-Painter to join our team at 4 WHEEL COLLISION & FRAME LTD.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and painting vehicles to a high standard, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute repair work to be performed, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling and safety.
  • Clean and maintain a safe and organized workspace.
  • File, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired, using appropriate techniques and tools.
  • Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers, demonstrating attention to detail and precision.
  • Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, and bolt or weld replacement parts into place, ensuring a secure and durable repair.
  • Apply primers and repaint surfaces, using high-quality materials and techniques.
  • Repair or replace interior components, such as upholstery and trim, to restore vehicles to their original condition.
  • Mix paint, blend, and match colors to achieve a perfect match, demonstrating attention to detail and color theory knowledge.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the automotive body repair industry.
  • Permanent employment with a regular 35-hour workweek.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
