Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as a Delivery Assistant/General Labourer at Herman's Supply Company. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lift and move heavy packages (up to 35kg) with ease
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Provide excellent customer service to our clients
  • Work independently or as part of a team to achieve goals

Requirements

  • Ability to lift 35kg (80lbs) without assistance
  • Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Availability to work during store hours, Monday to Friday (days only)

Qualifications

  • Ability to work at heights up to 2 1/2 storeys
  • Experience unloading trucks is an asset
  • Ability to provide a police clearance
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Fall Arrest certificate is an asset, but training will be provided
  • Valid G license is an asset
  • Tow motor experience is an asset
