We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist II to join our team at Swan Hills Health Centre. As a key member of our Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for directing and supervising the day-to-day operations of our staff and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and organize the operation of the site Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments.
- Supervise and direct department staff and services.
- Perform site-specific manual and automated laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging exams, and cardiology procedures.
- Ensure compliance with established standards and practices defined by the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), and Health Professions Act.
- Completion of a diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT).
- Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
This is a regular part-time position with a 0.80 FTE. The successful candidate will work 7.75 hours per shift, with a shift pattern of days and on-call. The position requires a high level of organization and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
