About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Kal Tire. As an Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our valued customers by performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing vehicle issues, and upholding a safety-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute front-end brake services, shocks, and wheel alignments.
- Safely perform tire removal, installation, and repair for passenger and light truck vehicles.
- Basic understanding and use of alignment machines, flush machines, oil lube and filter service.
- Assist and perform mechanical inspections and services, including work order procedures, alignment, flush machines, and oil lube and filter service.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, consistently surpassing each client's expectations.
Requirements
- Completion of Automotive Technician Program or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license.
- Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and a desire to learn.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to excel in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout the day.
- Being safety conscious is of utmost importance - always wear required PPE and follow instructed work protocols.
