Job Title: Front-End Engineer

VERB Interactive is seeking a skilled Front-End Engineer to join our team. As a remote worker, you will be part of a dynamic team that specializes in digital marketing, with a focus on tourism and hospitality-based businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in regular project stand-ups and sprint reviews to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Identify and optimize applications for performance and scalability issues, ensuring a robust and maintainable codebase.
  • Collaborate with development, creative, and product management teams to plan and deliver user-facing products from start to finish.
  • Design and implement efficient, reusable front-end systems that drive complex web and mobile applications.
  • Use test-driven development to write well-tested code and participate in code reviews led by senior team members and technical leadership.
  • Maintain and update the functional and UI aspects of applications, ensuring a high level of quality and user experience.
  • Mentor junior team members and stay up-to-date with current trends and technologies.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience with JavaScript and related technologies.
  • Post-secondary education in IT Web Programming, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with React/React Native or comparable technologies (Angular, Vue, etc.).
  • Experience with browser APIs and optimizing front-end performance.
  • Proficient with code versioning (Git, SVN) and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to function in a fast-paced business environment.
