Job Title: Journeyman Plumber

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team in Williams Lake, British Columbia. As a Journeyman Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems.
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines.
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Prepare cost estimates.
Requirements:
  • Punctuality and attention to detail.
  • Driver's license is an asset (clean driver's abstract).
  • Willingness to work overtime, evenings, and weekends if needed.
  • Willingness to work out of town occasionally.
  • Own tools are an asset.
  • Team player and ability to work independently.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Criminal record check is required.
  • Willingness to participate in professional development (company-paid).
  • Willingness to wear proper PPE at all times.
